Payment or co-payment (for health insurance clients) is due at time of service. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy or you will be charged the full amount of your appointment visit. We accept cash, check, major credit cards, and PayPal. There is a $35 fee for returned checks.
If you are paying “out of pocket” we can provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company. Some insurance companies cover nutrition counseling, however, many do not. You can call your insurance and find out if they pay for “medical nutrition therapy” for any of your medical conditions that you may have. They may cover part of the visit by using your out of network benefits. If you receive reimbursement from your insurance provider it will go directly to you.
A health care spending account credit card can also be used to pay for nutrition services.
